BK 5033 Embossed Floater leather, soft and compact thanks to an expanded and nicely evenly pebbled grain. BK 5166 Milled natural grain soft and compact Floater leather thanks to an expanded and nicely evenly pebbled grain. BK 5104 Embossed Floater leather, soft and compact thanks to an expanded and nicely evenly pebbled grain. The mechanical processing, the drying and humidifying cycles, used for the semi-finished product and the type of finishing, are three parameters which may modify the surface and the appearance of the finished leather by creating different degrees of grain homogeneity and pebble. However, to improve the reproducibility and to improve the control over the grain homogeneity, Biokimica Group has developed LIKERSOL PL, an innovative low-COD polymeric fatliquor, containing minimally 77% of natural raw materials, acting directly on the intertwining of the leather fibers. Using LIKERSOL PL obtains a soft and homogeneous leather with an excellent weight ratio. The Floater leathers proposed by Biokimica Group are made on calfskin with a thickness of 1.6 -1.8 mm to be used for leather goods.
